Ministry of Sound's D&AD brief set the challenge of producing three typographically focused A2 posters to promote their iconic Saturday Sessions nights in London.
With the London Underground being a famous function of the city, I brought in elements of the iconic tube map to firstly emphasise the club's location, London, and create a sense of a journey the night takes you on.
Map lines form the lettering of 'Saturday Sessions' and split each night of the month into a seperate route for the viewer to follow. Boroughs and areas of London at the head of the poster connect together at the top of Saturday Sessions to suggest the city unites every Saturday at Ministry of Sound and vibrant colour has been used to represent the strobe and lighting which accompanies an underground club night.

I was shortlisted for a D&AD yellow pencil award for these designs, which was a pretty cool cherry on top!
